About Me

I am a visual artist and designer, driven by my passion for bringing color and texture to life through my unique artworks.
Inspired by both nature and fashion, I approach painting with an intuitive sense of color, creating vibrant, texturally rich pieces. Over the years, I’ve developed my own unique artistic technique that incorporates fabrics on canvas, giving my work a distinctive and tactile dimension.

My Journey

Growing up surrounded by art, especially abstract works, I developed an early appreciation for the many ways art can be represented.

I came to understand that a painting is not only an expression of the artist but also shaped by the perception of the viewer. This freedom of interpretation captivated me from a young age.

Living and working in dynamic cities like London, Paris, Monaco, LA, and now Oslo has profoundly shaped my artistic expression. The rich cultures and vibrant fashion and art scenes of these places have continually inspired my work. I’ve had the opportunity to work with renowned brands such as Harrods' own label, Burberry, and Sofie Faro, both as a designer and in product development, thriving in creatively challenging environments. These experiences have greatly influenced my approach to art and design.

I create my artworks both in my Oslo studio and during my travels to the stunning island of Mallorca. My creative journey is deeply inspired by the natural beauty I encounter.

Alongside my artistic career, I am a dedicated mother and homemaker, finding balance between my art and family life.

I am a member of the Nordic Textile Art network.

Since 2000, my artworks have been collected in Norway and Sweden, admired for their joyful, tapestry-like qualities.

Thank you for being a part of my artistic journey. I hope my passion for visual expression brings joy and inspiration into your home.

With love,
Alexandra

My Artistic Approach

Over the years, I’ve developed a distinctive painting technique that integrates fabrics onto canvas, creating works with a tapestry-like quality. My art reflects my vibrant personality and fashion background, blending the two seamlessly.

I paint intuitively, drawing inspiration daily from nature’s power, colours, and beauty. My deep understanding of colour, texture, and design allows me to create pieces rich in detail and emotion.

I use recycled fabrics, like old bed linens and shirts, to add a three-dimensional effect. Each piece is unique and often surprises me with its final outcome. The tactile experience of fabric and the visual impact of colour are central to my creative process.
